July 23, 1924 - March 21, 2012
Mary J. Roehm, 87, of Hot Springs, peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, March 21, 2012, surrounded by her long-time friend and maintenance man, J.D. Fladung. Born July 23, 1924 in Long Beach, California to the late Alyosis and Elizabeth West Werstzka, she was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Mary was a devout catholic who loved the Lord and sang in the choir at St. Mary's and St. John's. She was a retired Southwestern Bell supervisor of many years. Mary's love was her dog "Bruno".
Survivors include distant relatives out of state.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Gross Funeral Home Chapel with Father Alan Rosenau officiating. Pallbearers will be members of St. Mary's Church. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. John Bond and staff, The Pet Clinic staff on Golf Links Road, neighbors Bruce Trussell and family, the Stewarts, Terry Reddy, Casey Jones and all of her Catholic friends.
