ROGERS — Margaret Ellen (Peggy) Gladbach Louree, 51, of Rogers, Ark., passed away peacefully on March 19, 2021, in Bentonville, Ark. She was born on Sept. 4, 1969, in Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of John and Margaret Schumacher Gladbach.
Peggy was the CEO of the Louree Family. She was a lover of Life and never knew a stranger. Peggy was known for her heartwarming smile and her unconditional and fierce love of God, her family, and her community. Peggy was a dedicated and beloved member of her St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church Family. She graduated from Bishop Miege HS ('88), where she was senior class president and captain of the basketball team. Peggy attended Regis University in Denver, Colo., and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education. While at Regis, Peggy was awarded the female athlete of the year and voted vice president of the student executive council. It was also at Regis where Peggy met and married the love of her life, Pete.
Peggy is survived by her husband Peter Vernon Louree; and her children, Robert Thomas, Margaret Ann, Charles Joseph, and Thomas Peter Louree; her parents, John and Margaret Gladbach; her siblings, Joe, Kathleen (Norkus), Tim, Ann (Graham), John, Bill, and Jerry Gladbach; as well as sisters-in-law, Nellie Ingersol, Charlotte Esquivel; her father-in-law, William Louree; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Steve Gladbach; and mother-in-law, Carol Louree.
A public funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 24, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. A public funeral mass will also be held in Kansas City at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 27, at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Roeland Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to St. Vincent De Paul Food Pantry.
