Floyd Keck
Floyd Keck, 91, of Witter; died Wednesday, December 4, 2019, at Fayetteville. He was born Monday, May 7, 1928, at Venus; to Leonard and Ethel Hastings Keck.

Floyd was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Lavera Carter Keck; one son, Bobby Keck; one daughter, Benita Keck; three brothers, Dorsey Keck, Clyde Keck, and Lloyd "Putz" Keck; and two grandchildren, Steven Keck and Catlin Keck.

He is survived by his daughter and son--in-law, Lois and Marvin Ryan of Springdale; two sons and daughter-in-law, Larry and Linda Keck of Huntsville; and Gary Keck of Witter; eight grandchildren, Ramona and Jerry Gray, Nanette and Steve Place, Justin Keck, Jazzmyn Keck, Chris Pew, Nick Pew, Tony Keck, and Bobby Gene Keck; fourteen great-grandchildren, and six great-great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 5:00 PM-7:00 PM, Friday, December 6, 2019, at Brashears Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 7, 2019, at Brashears Funeral Home with Porter Bryant officiating. Pallbearers will be Justin Keck, Tony Bailey, Clarence Carson, Carmen Carson, Anthony Keck, and Rick Keck. Honorary pallbearer will be Jerry Bryant. Interment will immediately follow services at Venus Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.

Rebecca LaVera Keck, 53, of HCR 72766, Box 54, Witter, died March 22, 1985 , at the Springdale Memorial Hospital. She was born January 6, 1932,at Huntsville, the daughter of John Leasel and Fannie Reynolds Carter.

Survivors include her husband, Floyd Keck of the home; three sons, Bobby Keck of Springdale, Gary Keck and Larry Keck, both of Huntsville; one daughter, Mrs. Lois Ryan of Farmington; her mother, Mrs. Fannie Carter of Huntsville; three brothers, Leasel Carter of Pueblo, Colo., Crawford Carter of Hayesville, Kans., and Charles Carter of Huntsville; two sisters , Mrs. Loletta Phillips of Clarkston, Wash., and Mrs. Lorena Middleton of Huntsville; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services were Tuesday, March 26, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Rev. Eugene Bryant and Rev. Layton Porter officiating. Interment was in the Venus Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Rick Keck, Mike Keck, Charles Wayne Carter, Lance Middleton, Allen Carter and Charles Carter.
