Rosie M. Glover, 86, of Hot Springs, passed peacefully into the arms of our Lord, surrounded by her loving family on August 21, 2015. She was born June 22, 1929 in Pine Bluff to the late Caesar and Elena Massanelli.She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Harold; sisters Delsie, Delia and Ann; and brothers Victor, Sonny, James and Tommy.She is survived by her children Sherry (Joe) Domann, Wayne (Robyn) Glover, Linda (Dirk) Ahlich, Judy (Larry) Ahlert, Cathy (Mike) Boyd, and Karen (David) Glover; sister Lena Owen; brother Caesar (Pat) Massanelli; grandchildren Joe, Monica, Patrick, Phillip Domann, Jeremy McLillie, Ashley West, Justin Boyd, and Jake Gatlin; eight great-grandchildren with one on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews whom she also loved dearly.Rosie loved to spend time with her children at their homes. She loved gardening, shopping, crossword puzzles, reading, and keeping in touch with her extended family on a frequent basis. Rosie loved her faith and attended mass on a weekly basis until her health failed. She was generous with the gifts of her time and attention to everyone she met. She was gracious, kind, and helpful to family members, friends, and everyone she met.Rosie and Harold were proud that they educated their six children in Catholic schools thru 8th grade. Rosie was a tireless volunteer in the school functions and fundraisers. She served as an officer in the Parent Teacher Organization. She served as a teacher’s aid in her children’s schools and in the local Head Start classroom as well.There was a Rosary service at St. John’s Catholic Church on Monday, August 24 at 5:30 p.m.There will be a Mass at St. John’s Catholic Church on Tuesday, August 25 at 10 a.m., officiated by Father James West.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. John’s Catholic School or the American Cancer Society.
