William C. "Bill" Blanchard, age 97, of Harrison, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2016, in Harrison. He was born May 6, 1919, in Monroe, Louisiana, the son of William Cecil and Flora Belle (Harris) Blanchard. Along with his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Gertrude M. (Mathis) Blanchard. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Harrison. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He was also an insurance salesman.
Memorial service was Saturday, November 12, 2016, at First Baptist Church in Harrison.
