August 10, 1937 - February 27, 2018
Anna "Louise" Butler-Jimerson transitioned on Feb. 27, 2018, at a local hospital. She was born August 10, 1937, to the late Althie and Govue Lee Butler in Springhill, La. Her parents completed the journey before her, as well as two brothers, Althie L. Butler and Sammie J. Butler; and three sisters, Gwendolyn R. Butler, Omega (Buncie) Butler-Bailey and Velda L. Butler-Fields.
She was a parishioner of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, where she loved attending Mass, until her health declined. Louise attended The Historic Langston High School, as well as the Arkansas Dept of Career Education Center, where she gained her certification as a medical assistant. She went on to work at several factories, Featherlite Industries, Pirelli Cable Company and Engineered Specialty Plastics. She retired from the latter in 2004.
She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Phyllis Wheatley Chapter. Louise enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and was known as the life of the party. Her jovial spirit, and infectious smile and laugh will be etched in the hearts of those who knew her forever.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories, two sons, Louis A. Jimerson and Larricke A (Lea Ann) Jimerson, both of Hot Springs, Ark.; three sisters, Dinah Douglas, Alice Butler and Rosie Thompson, all of Hot Springs, Ark.; one brother, Bill (Bernice) Butler, of Little Rock, Ark.; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends at 312 Laser St., Hot Springs, AR 71901.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at St. John's Catholic Church.
Burial to follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-7 p.m. Monday at Hot Springs Funeral Home.
Arrangements are with Hot Springs Funeral Home. Online condolences at http://www.hotspringsfh.com.
