Dorothy Eastman, 86, of Jacksonville, died peacefully Friday, March 23, 2018 at Spring Creek Nursing Home in Cabot. She was born March 27, 1931 in Portland, Maine, to the late Charles and Ethelyn Rider Stackpole. Dorothy was a faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church in Sherwood for many years. She loved to do embroidery, make quilts, and was a Volunteer for the Salvation Army. She will be missed by all who knew her. She is proceeded in death by her husband, Andrew Eastman; two sons, Larry and Paul Phillips.
Dorothy is survived by her son, Glen (Terese) Phillips of Cabot; grandson, Charles (Nicole) Phillips and great-granddaughter, Lexxi Phillips all of North Glen, Colorado.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 26, 2018 at Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Brother Roy Thomas officiating.
