FAYETTEVILLE — Gary Hunter Glidewell, age 65, of Fayetteville died Nov. 2,
2013, at Washington Regional Medical Center. He was born in Bethesda, Md., on July 8, 1948, to Willard "Rocky" and Muriel (Olsen) Glidewell.
He worked doing restoration for the National Parks Service.
He was preceded in death by his mother; and a sister, Heather McDonald.
Survivors include his father, Willard "Rocky" Glidewell, and stepmother, Dixie Glidewell.
Private graveside memorial services will be held at Fayetteville National Cemetery.
Cremation arrangements are by Callison-Lough Funeral Home of Bentonville.

BENTONVILLE — Willard Ellis "Rocky" Glidewell, Commander, U.S. Navy (Ret.), age 103, of Bentonville, died Dec. 2, 2015, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville. He was born in Jackson County; Ill., on April 19, 1912, to the late George and Ada (Smith) Glidewell.
Rocky lived a full life. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1930 and honorably served his country, retiring from active duty in 1958.
He is survived by his wife, Dixie Lou Glidewell, of the home.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Heather McDonald; a son, Hunter Glidewell; two sisters and one brother.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015, at Fayetteville National Cemetery.
Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Rd., Springdale, Ark. 71162.
Cremation arrangements are by Callison-Lough Funeral Home of Bentonville.
