Richard Thomas Jones, 57, passed away Jan. 30, 2017, in Rogers.

He was born March 20, 1959, in Camden, Ark.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Paula Swartz Jones and father-in-law, Ernest Swartz.

He is survived by: two sons, Jacob T. Jones and wife Melly of Clarksville, and Caleb D. Jones of Huntsville; parents, James H. Jones and Peggy Slaughter Jones of Camden; one sister, Debbie Tew and husband David of Lawrenceville, Ga.; one brother, Jim Jones and wife Machelle of El Dorado; mother-in-law, Geraldine Swartz of Camden; one brother-in-law, Wayne Swartz of Camden; two sisters-in-law, Hazel Bullock of Shreveport, La., and JoAnn Vaughan and husband Dale of East Camden; six nephews, Jason Jones and wife Laura of Ruston, La., Stephen Jones and wife Bridget of Maumelle, Bryan Jones and wife Susan of West Linn, Ore., Robert Wayne Swartz of Camden, Adam Swartz of Camden, Brandon Bullock of Shreveport, and Matt Vaughn of East Camden; and two nieces, Julie Tew of Lawrenceville, Ga. and Krista Vaughan of East Camden.

Visitation will be held 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, 2017, at the Hardwicke Funeral Home chapel.

The funeral service will be Friday, Feb. 3, 2017, at 11 a.m. at East Mt. Zion Trinity Baptist Church in Clarksville, with Rev. Jacob Jones and Robbie Jackson.

Burial will be held at Venus Mountain Cemetery in Huntsville at 3 p.m.

Paula Swartz Jones, 50, of Huntsville, Arkansas, died April 7, 2010 at her home. She was born February 26, 1960 at Camden, Arkansas, the daughter of Earnest and Geraldine Adams Swartz. She was most recently employed by David Madison of State Farm Insurance. Originally from Camden, she also was employed by Connie Cox of Cox Associates. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Huntsville and had made several mission trips and was active with her Church, cub scouts and supporting her sons' activities. She was preceded in death by her father, Earnest Swartz.

Survivors include: her husband, Richard Jones of the home; two sons, Jacob Jones and Caleb Jones, both of the home; her mother, Geraldine Swartz of Camden, Arkansas; one brother, Wayne Swartz of Chidester, Arkansas; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Joanne and Dale Vaughan of East Camden, Arkansas and Hazel Bullock of Shreveport, Louisiana; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, James H. and Peggy Jones of Camden, Arkansas; and nine nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P. M. Saturday, April 10, at the Calvary Baptist Church in Huntsville with The Reverend Brandon Brasel officiating. Interment will be in the Venus Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be: Jason Jones, Stephen Jones, Bryan Jones, Robert Wayne Swartz, Adam Swartz and Matthew Vaughan. Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of Calvary Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P. M. to 8:00 P. M. on Friday at the funeral home.
