Virginia Ruth Dorney, 64, of Hartman died Sunday, May 11, 2003, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
She was born at Denning to John Henry and Glen Smith Stover, member of Liberty Hill Cemetery Board, Hartman Volunteer Fire Department, and VFW Auxiliary and a Protestant.
Survivors include her husband, Tommy Dorney; two daughters, Cheryl VanAkken of Spadra and Cleta Ralph of Hartman; one son, Jimmy Dorney of Hartman; five sisters, Lorene McClain of Denning, Martha Tillery and Francis Tollison, both of Hartman, and Juanita Walker and Nancy Smith, both of Ozark; three brothers, Sam, Leo and Gary Stover, all of Denning; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 14, at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel in Ozark with Rev. John Kindrix officiating. Burial will be in the Kendall Cemetery north of Hartman.
Pallbearers will be Calvin Stover, James Thomas, Bud Dixon, Jerry Dorney, John Dorney, and Garry Dorney.
