Eunice A. Highfill, 87, of Hartman died Monday, Feb. 21, 2011, at Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith.
A native of Franklin County, she was a daughter of the late W.F. and Ora Jacobs Wheeless, widow of Cecil Highfill, graduate of Hartman High School, employed at Douglas Air Craft in Tulsa, Okla., during World War II, Christian, and was preceded in death by two brothers, Hoyt Wheeless and Wayne Wheeless; and one sister, Wanda Wheeless.
Survivors include two sons, Bobby Highfill and wife, Elizabeth, of Springdale and Don Highfill and wife, Flo Ann, of Hartman; one sister, Venice Kirby of Ozark; one brother, Kenneth Wheeless of Ozark; seven grandchildren, Jeff Highfill and wife, Katie, of Russellville, Reagan Highfill of Washington, D.C., Julie Garrett and husband, Michael, of Hattiesburg, Miss., Nathan Highfill and wife, Tiffany, of Virginia Beach, Va., Sarah Highfill and Martha Highfill, both of Springdale, and Cory Highfill and wife, Tina, of Hartman; and six great-grandchildren, Caleb Garrett, Joanna Highfill, Levi Highfill, Abraham Highfill, Ayla Highfill, and Madison Highfill.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23, at Kendall Cemetery Church with Rev. Ira Taylor officiating.
Burial will be in Kendall Cemetery under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
