Edward J. Denning, Sr. Age 78, loving husband, father and grandfather passed away August 27, 2002.

He was formerly of Denison, Texas. He was born in Hays, Kansas to Nicholas and Barbara Weigle Denning. He attended school in Hays, Kansas. He served in World War 2 and was President of Denning, Inc. of Texas and Arkansas.

He married Wilma Gravley of Hartman, Arkansas April 30, 1943. They had four children.

Survivors are his wife Wilma, of Hartman, Arkansas, two sons, Edward Denning Jr., of Amarillo, Texas, William E. Denning and Loretta of Austin, Arkansas, two daughters, Rev. Deborah L. Denning, and Linda M. Denning of Hartman. Five Grandchildren, Bobby and Jennifer Denning, Fayetteville, Arkansas, Rhonda and Johnny Hankins of Cabot, Arkansas, Sandra and Thad Finley of Lonoke, Arkansas, Sharon and Mark Bibbs, of Cabot, Arkansas, Charity and Cecil Adams of Little Elm, Texas. Five sisters, one brother and nine great-grandchildren, and numerous relatives and friends.

Pallbearers were, John Burke, Tim Bornowski, Mark Buresch, Bill Evans, Jimmy Ralph, and Randy Nailing.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. August 29, 2002, at Trinity Chapel with the Rev. Terry Schlinker and Rev. Bob Freeman officiating, Hardwicke Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Wilma P. Denning of Van Buren, Arkansas, was born September 16, 1923, to her parents in Hartman, Arkansas, and she passed away December 9, 2014, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, at the age of 91. She was the owner of Denning Properties and a member of Trinity Chapel Church in Clarksville.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Ruby Morrison Gravley; a brother, Joe Paul Gravley; and two sisters, Doris Bornowski and Shirley Petrovitch.

Ms. Denning is survived by two sons, Edward J. Denning of Amarillo, Texas, and William E. Denning of Austin, Arkansas; two daughters, Deborah L. Pinkard of Van Buren, Arkansas, and Linda M. Denning of Fresno, Texas; a brother, Bill Gravley of Texas; five grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 13, 2014, at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas, with Reverend Phil Redding officiating. Burial will follow in Hays Chapel Cemetery in Clarksville, Arkansas.

A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Friday, December 12, 2014, at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be Dillion Hankins, Brettley Bibbs, Leroy Hurst, Roy Allen, Sam Denning, and Joseph Denning.
