Mrs. Mary Helen Smith, age 87 of Blevins passed away, Sunday, September 2, 2018 in a local nursing home.
Mrs. Smith was born in Prescott, Arkansas on January 7, 1931 to Ellis and Inez Phillips Steed. She was a housewife and a member of Marlbrook Baptist Church of Blevins.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Murl Smith, and her brothers: Mendel Steed, Glenn Steed, Guy Steed and Earl B. “Red” Steed.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her three sons: Earl A. Smith wife Brenda of Benton, Stanley L. Smith wife Wendy of Blevins and Lyn Smith wife Debbie of Charleston, South Carolina, three brothers: Doug Steed wife Donna of Blevins, Bobby Steed wife Jamie of Blevins and Gene Steed wife Wanda of Camden, two sisters: Maudine Welch and Dot Smith husband Billy all of Blevins, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, other family members and friends.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00pm on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home 1001 South Main Hope, AR.
Funeral service, 10:00am on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Marlbrook Baptist Church in Blevins with Bro. Jerry Hill and Bro. Neil Ridling officiating.
Burial to follow in Macedonia Cemetery. Arrangements are with BRAZZEL/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope, Eddie BRAZZEL, Director.
