BENTONVILLE - Myrna Lou Bertschy, 78, of Bentonville passed away Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2020. Mrs. Bertschy was born Aug. 28, 1941, in Pleasanton, Kan., to the late Gerald Isaac Ball and Evelyn Madeline Browning Ball.
She was also preceded by a sister, Marsha Ball.
Myrna enjoyed quilting, gardening, embroidery, antiquing, watching the family pets, livestock and old westerns. She devoted her life to raising her family and, for nearly 40 years, providing care to her husband following his accident.
Mrs. Bertschy was an active volunteer at the Adult Development Center in Rogers and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband, Dale C. Bertschy of Bentonville; her daughter, Carla Foster (Greg) of Fayetteville; and son, Matt Bertschy (Rochelle) of Bentonville; a granddaughter, Erica Scott (Tad) of Georgia; two great-grandchildren, Ellie Scott and Brice Palmer; two sisters; four brothers; numerous extended family and dear friends.
A graveside funeral service will begin at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2020, in Bentonville Cemetery.
