Mrs. Liva Jones Redfern, 78, of Winslow, died Saturday night at the City Hospital after a few hours illness. She was born at Knoxville, Ill., and had lived most of her life in Fayetteville and Winslow. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors are her husband Charles; two daughters, Mrs. Rettie Garriott and Mrs. Nellie Bnks, both of Fayetteville; five sons, Perry Jones, Andy Jones, Will Jones, Oscar Jones and Clyde Jones, all of Fayetteville; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Retta McGaugh of Anderson, Mo.
Funeral services were to be held today at 2:30 at the Nelson- Savage Funeral Home chapel by the Rev. E. O. House. Burial was to be in the Tharp cemetery.
