Laura "Frances" Pack, age 79, of Pearcy, died, Thursday, December 25, 2014. She was born on November 17, 1935 in Hot Springs, the daughter of John Newton Gillham and Hazel Pearl Spurlin Gillham. On June 24, 1977, she was married to Kenneth Pack, Sr. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Elmer David Gilliam and Delmar J. Gillham; and two brothers-in-law, Sam Lelemsis and Richard Houk. Frances was a member of Shorewood Hills Assembly of God. She was retired from Southwestern Bell after 29 years working as a telephone operator. She also worked at Hillcrest Children's Home in Hot Springs. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Pack, Sr. of Pearcy, AR, and a blended family of five sons and daughters-in-law and five daughters and four sons-in-law; Marty and Nan Rindahl of Little Rock, AR, Marilyn and Ken Newsom, Joanie and Rick Stokes, Debbie and Ross Baldwin, all of Hot Springs, AR, Diane and Joe Evans of Booneville, AR, Kenneth R. and Vicki Pack of Bastrop, LA, Ricky Joe and Janet Pack, Ronald Keith and Niki Pack, all of Crossett, AR, Donald D. and Lori Pack, Elizabeth A. Pack Tucker, all of Montrose; thirty-two grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; two sisters, Delcie M. Lelemsis of Bakersfield, CA and Linda Kay Houk of Hot Springs, AR; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, December 29, 2014 in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs, with Bro. Paul Graves, Sr. officiating. Interment will be in the Hollywood Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Sunday evening. Pallbearers will be Gabriel Brewer, Kyle Newsom, Brent Newsom, Tyler Brewer, Charles "Chip" Teague, and Chris Teague. Honorary pallbearers will be Dewayne Pack, Kaleb Pack, Jack Rindahl, Andrew Rindahl, Calvin Brewer, Aaron Johnson, Barrett Johnson, and Connor Johnson. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
