Sharon Mae Bimson Watts, age 76, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2019 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She was born November 2, 1942 in Old Town, Maine. Shari lived in Jacksonville, Arkansas for over 45 years and was a Catholic, homemaker, volunteer, and accountant. She enjoyed birdwatching, bingo and bowling on LRAFB, as well as animals. In her later years, she enjoyed using her iPad to keep up with family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, John R. Watts; mother, Mary Louise Dubay and father, William Russell Bimson.
She is survived by sisters, Pearl Pizzedaz, Jeannette Morton; sons, Charles (Ellen) Howland, Jr., Jeffery Cox, and Steven (Toni) Cox; daughter, Lt. Col. (Ret. Army) Shari Corbett; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and best friend, Marvis Vondrachek Sauer.
Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home with Vicar Anthony Johnson presiding. Interment will follow at a later date at Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to The Salvation Army or Jacksonville Animal Shelter.
