ROGERS — Gaylord E. Johansen, 87, of Rogers died March 23, 2004, at Heritage Park Nursing Home. He was born Dec. 19, 1916, in Minneapolis, Minn., to Julius and Laura Johansen. He was a map maker for several years for the U.S. Genealogical Survey in Denver, Colo. He was an Army Air Corps veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Goldie E. Johansen of the home, to whom he was married in 1955; two sisters, Glemys Lund of Brooklyn Park, Minn., and Geneva Boll of Plymouth, Minn.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Benton County Funeral Home in Rogers with the Rev. Matt Meinke officiating.
