PRESSLEY, Katie - Katie Pressley, little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Pressley, was born April 15th, 1895 and died Jan. 12th, 1903, age 7 years, 8 months and 17 days. Sad indeed were all our hearts when we learned our little playmate had been taken from our midst. Katie was timid and retiring but very studious, never failing in any tasks assigned her, always obedient, kind and gentle. We who followed to her last resting place saw the coffin lowered into the grave, listened to the hollow sound of clods as they fell on the lid, will never forget our little friend to whose memory we offer this tribute of love. Her Schoolmates.
