May 25, 1944 - July 1, 2018
Kathy (Mimi) Burroughs, of Hot Springs, passed away July 1, 2018. She was born on May 25, 1944, in Torrance, California to the late Lawrence and Iva Carpenter.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and a special angel, infant daughter, Pamela Kay Burroughs.
Survivors include her loving husband, Harold Burroughs; sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Dee Burroughs, Mike and Ronetta Burroughs. God blessed her with six beautiful granddaughters, Brooke Young (Josh), Mikala Koller (Tim), Karli Sanchez (Stephen), Aubrey Mesko (Zach), Mallory Melby (Jace), Laikin Meeks (Landon); and the joys of her life, nine great-grandchildren, Kaiden Burroughs, Karson Rowland, Kyeson Koller, Kamden Koller, Braxten Young, Addison Sanchez, Ezra Sanchez, Teal Mesko, and Parker Meeks. She is also survived by a sister, Joyce Ross; and brother, Bob Carpenter (Judy).
Kathy and Harold have been active members of Oaklawn Church of God for over 60 years.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.
A celebration of Kathy’s life will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Oaklawn Church of God with Bro. Terry Arrington officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
