BELLA VISTA — Eugene L. "Jiggs" Mickel passed away Sept. 29, 2013, Bella Vista. Jiggs was born June 15, 1922, in Osage, Wyo.
Graduated from Buffalo High School in 1940. Married Janell Miller in 1944.
Jiggs made a career of the U.S. Air Force, retiring in 1967 as chief master sergeant, having served in WWII, Korea and Vietnam.
After being widowed in 2005, Jiggs was honored to share the affection of a special lady, Sylvia Lee.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6, 2013, at Concordia Care Center.
Arrangements are by the Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory.

BELLA VISTA — Janell Miller Mickel, 78, of Bella Vista died June 11, 2005. She was born July 28, 1926, in River Falls, Wis., to Neil S. and Margaret Taylor Miller.
She moved to Bella Vista in 1999 from Wyoming, via south Texas. She was a member and an elder of the Presbyterian Church of Bella Vista. She was a member of the Village Art Club, AARP, The Living Bank, Air Force Sergeants Association Auxiliary and the Retired Enlisted Association Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband, Eugene L. Mickel of Bella Vista; a son, Daniel Mickel of McAllen, Texas; a daughter, Kristine J. Brown of Jackson, Wyo.; a sister, Mardi Teal of Paradise Valley, Ariz.; a brother, Tim Miller of St. George, Utah; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at the Presbyterian Church of Bella Vista with the Rev. James E. Still and the Rev. Tracy L. Evans officiating.
Arrangements are by Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Presbyterian Church of Bella Vista, 1880 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, 72715.
