Reflections of Life
Lillie Mae Whitmore was born July 2, 1938 in Columbus, AR to the late Sallie Trotter and late David Dixon. She departed this life on Thursday, May 10, 2018. Her work on earth was finished: God saw fit to call her home.
Lillie accepted Christ in her life at an early age and demonstrated her passion of assisting others. She exercised her gift daily as she spread her love to people throughout the community and across the nation. Her mission was to assure that her family and friends were doing well- spiritually, mentally, socially, physically, as well as, financially.
Lillie was proceeded in death by her husband, Leroy Whitmore; her mother, Sallie Trotter; her father, David Dixon; brothers, Sambo Dixon and Odell Trotter; sister, Deloris Hancock and grandson, James (Booky) Adams.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories, her children: Terry (Sherry) Adams of Grand Prairie, TX, Mark (Cheryl) Adams of Grand Prairie, TX, Shera (Willie) Cannon of Arlington, TX, Cleo (Belinda) Adams of Arlington, TX, and Lisa (Keith) Ross of Grand Prairie, TX.
Three brothers: Henry Lee Vaughn of Columbus, AR; William Dixon of Hope, AR; and Wilbur (Joycelyn) Trotter of Columbus, AR; six sisters: Nare Bell Vaughn of Columbus, AR; Ethel (Polly) Turner of Washington, AR ; Annie Bell Trotter of Toledo, OH; Ruby Masters of Columbus AR, Gloria Phillips of Columbus, AR; and Joyce Trotter of Texarkana, AR.
Eighteen grandchildren; forty great grandchildren; one great- great grandchild, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Special Aunts: Jewel Smith of Saratoga, AR and Annie Lee Wyatt of Columbus, AR

Visitation will be 2-5pm, family hour 7-8pm Friday, May 18 at the funeral home.
Homegoing Services will be 11am Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Saratoga School Gymnasium, Saratoga, AR~~ Repast- Saratoga School Cafeteria. Interment- Camp Springs Cemetery, Columbus, AR. Arrangements entrusted to Hicks Funeral Home, Inc.
