Margie A. Herring, age 79, of Mena, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2014 in at her home. She was born January 31, 1935 in Humphrey, Arkansas to the late Ralph Croft and the late Thelma E. Sanders Croft. She was happily married for 62 years to Charles T. Herring. She was a pastor's wife and made a happy home and was a member of the United Pentecostal Church. Mrs. Herring loved to cook and had a talent at selling "used treasures". She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She is survived by: Husband: Charles T. Herring Sons: Stephen L. Herring Carl R. Herring Tommy W. Herring Brothers: Sammy Croft and Ralph Croft, Jr. Sister: Janet Conners Grandchildren: Charles Herring, III, Steve Herring, Jr., Carl Herring, Jr., Ashlea Kennedy, Tiffany Nelson, and Lacey Sullivan Great-Grandchildren: Emaelee Nelson, Addyson Kennedy and Ella Kennedy She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Croft and Thelma Sanders Croft, a sister, Wilma Haynes and a son, Stan Herring. Funeral services will be Friday, February 21, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at White Hall United Pentecostal Church with Pastor Chris Dixon officiating. A private burial will be in White Hall Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday, February 20th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
