SEILER, Rudolph - Rudolph Seiler, an old and respected citizen of Sulphur Springs, died Saturday, June 30, 1917. Mr. Seiler was born in Baden-Baden, Germany in 1841; came to the United States in 1855. He was married twice, first in 1869, to which union were born a son and a daughter, the latter being the wife of Henry Banks of Hiwasse. The first wife died in 1883 and Mr. Seiler married again in 1885. This companion and one son, Curt, survive. Mr. Seiler was raised a Catholic but some 25 years ago joined the Methodist church at Noel, Mo. He had been a Mason for many years. The funeral was conducted by Rev. Blizzard of Sulphur Springs and burial took place in the cemetery near Donovan school house in charge of the Masons.
