Maude Duce Faulkner
29 May 1900 - 16 May 1981
Maude May Duce-Faulkner was the first child born to James Robert Duce & Lavisa Amanda "Jenny" Payne-Duce on May 29, 1900. She was college educated and a family historian. She married Claude David Faulkner on November 02, 1920 in Alpine, Clark Co, AR. Together, they had five children. She wrote several articles about Clark Co, AR history that were later published in two local periodicals, the 'Old Time Chronicle' and 'Clark County Historical Journal'.
"Grannie Pete" as she was nicknamed, passed on April 16, 1981 and was laid to rest beside her husband of over 50 years.
