FAYETTEVILLE — Dixie Tucker Morris, 96, of Fayetteville was called home to God's loving Grace on March 1, 2015. Born on November 8, 1918 to Oliver and Ethel Tucker, she was raised in Highland Community and is a graduate of Farmington Schools.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill Morris; son, James Morris; brothers, Frank Tucker and Robert Tucker; and sister, Beulah Davis. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Becky Morris of Longview, Texas; and granddaughters, Christy Beasley, Charae Jones, Kathryn Shaw; and five great-grandchildren. She cherished relationships with numerous nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends. She was a long time faithful member of Wiggins United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be held at Beard's Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville on March 5, 2015 at 2 p.m. Visitation will precede the service at 1 p.m. and burial will follow the service at Highland Community Cemetery in Fayetteville under the direction of Beard's Chapel.

FAYETTEVILLE — William "Bill" H. Morris, 86, of Fayetteville died March 31, 2004, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born Feb. 12, 1918, in Cardin, Okla., to James Daniel and Lillian Thrasher Morris. He retired from Arkansas Western Gas Co., after 35 years of employment. He was a Navy veteran and a member of Wiggins United Methodist Church in Fayetteville. He was also retired from the Fayetteville Volunteer Fire Department and Meals on Wheels.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Dixie Morris of the home; one son, James Morris and wife Becky of Longview, Texas; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Wiggins United Methodist Church in Fayetteville with the Rev. Steve Cook officiating. Burial will be in Highland Community Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Beard's Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville.

Honorary pallbearers will be men of the Homebuilders Sunday school class at the church.
