Betty Ruth Hartsfield
of Greenbrier, AR

September 30, 1928 - January 8, 2022

Betty Ruth Hartsfield, 93, of Greenbrier went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 8, 2022. She was born September 30, 1928 in Conway, AR to the late George Edgar Seay and Linnie Louise Mason Seay Powell. Betty was also preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Thomas Lee Hartsfield, son, Dennis Dean Mauldin, daughter, Betty Sue Baker and sisters, Susie Mae Nash and Yvonne Tucker.

Betty is survived by her sons, Charles Wade Reynolds (Lora) and Carl Gene Mauldin (Debby), brother, James Ernest Powell, sisters, Charlsie Van Liew, and Winnie Hill and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Betty was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church in Conway and employed for 36 years at CHDC in Conway. She enjoyed cleaning, flea markets, crocheting and most of all cooking for her family on Sunday mornings and spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be at 12pm Tuesday, January 11, 2022, with funeral service following at 1pm at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier. Bro. Freddie Mark Wilcox will be officiating. Burial will follow at Hartje Cemetery in Conway. The family request that anyone attending the visitation and funeral service wear masks.

Thomas Lee Hartsfield, 86, of Greenbrier, AR, went to be with the Lord, Friday, December 27, 2019. He was born November 15, 1933, in Faulkner County, AR, to the late Joseph Wallace and Grace Ivy (Davis) Hartsfield. Tom was also preceded in death by his daughter, Betty Baker (Dennis); his son, Dennis Mauldin (Jimmie); his brother, Joe A. Hartsfield; and his sister, Clara Telles (Gerald).

Tom was of the Baptist faith. He retired from Conway Human Development Center after 40 years. Tom had a passion for music. He could play the guitar, mandolin, violin and piano. Tom was loved very much by his friends and family, who will dearly miss his big smile and kind heart.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving family; his wife of 43 years, Betty Ruth Hartsfield; his children, Wade Reynolds (Lola), and Carl Mauldin (Debby) all of Conway; his brother, Danny Hartsfield (Jo); his sisters, Sammy Michael (Ron) and Peggy Manny (Danny); 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great- grandchildren; and a host of many other family and friends.

A funeral service will be at 1:00pm, Tuesday, December 31, 2019, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier with visitation one hour prior, interment to follow at Hartje Cemetery in Conway.
