Cynthia Marie McGough, 62, of Walnut Ridge, died April 14, 2021 in the NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro.
Born October 4, 1958 in San Diego, CA; daughter of the late Gilbert W. and Ina M. Fears Pickney. Early in her career Cindy was a Hospitality Director for the Hilton Hotels and for the Arlington Hotel in Hot Springs. She worked as an Administrative assistant and support for several different businesses. Later she worked as a Field Agent for the U.S. Bureau of Census and was a Lawrence County Funeral Director for many years. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Portia. She loved to Travel, spend time outdoors, Gaming, Arts and collecting Angels. Cindy was a daddy’s girl and loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Robert W. Brumfield.
Survivors include her two son’s, Dr. Randall (Christina) Brumfield of Baton Rouge, LA and Richard (Stacia) Brumfield of Powhatan, VA; five grandchildren, Amelia, Abigail, Kyle, Bianca, and Riley Brumfield; two sisters, Pamela Warren Snow of Walnut Ridge and Virginia (Leon) Goff of Hoxie; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be Sunday, April 18, 2021 at 2 P.M. in the Bryan Chapel. Pallbearers will be Terry Nelly, James Pickney, Dr. Randall and Richard Brumfield. Interment will follow in the Lawrence Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 1 P.M. till 2 P.M. Sunday.
