Mrs. Maude Rogers Gatling, 70, of Warren, died Monday. Mrs. Gatling was a retired dietician and a member of the First Baptist Church of Warren. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ivonette Sinks of Warren and Mrs. H. M. Hendrix of Lewisville; two brothers, H. N. Rogers of Sheridan and S. J. Rogers of Smackover; four sisters, Mrs. Max House of Sheridan, Mrs. Mary Hearn of Malvern, Mrs. Joe Doss of El Dorado and Mrs. Vergie McGee of Redlands, Calif.; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the First Baptist Church of Warren with Dr. James Draper officiating. Burial was in Moss Cemetery near Bearden in Ouachita County under the direction of Frazer Mortuary of Warren. (The El Dorado Times - November 24, 1965)
