Myrtle Marie Allen Gober, 79, of Monticello, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at the Woods Nursing & Rehab Center in Monticello. She was born September 14, 1932 in Drew County.
She retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company after 35 years and was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Monticello. She was the daughter of the late James W. Allen and Ada Bell Wininger Allen and was preceded in death by one son, Barton Allen Gober and one sister, Emma Allen.
Survivors include one son, Tony Gober of Monticello and two grandchildren, Justin and Kara Gober, both of Monticello.
