Christine Ila Rand, age 91, of Little Rock, AR, died Tuesday February 16, at St. Vincent's in Little Rock, AR. Born August 6, 1924, in Bradley County, AR, a daughter of the late Homer Myers and Lena Lizzie Howsen Myers, she was a homemaker, member of Archview Baptist Church, a graduate of U.A.L.R. and the widow of James Alvin Rand who died June 27, 1972. Also preceding her in death was a son James Ronald Rand; brothers Cecil Myers, Doyle Myers; sisters Mildred Brown and Grachel Harvill.

Survivors are two sons Jesse Lee Rand of Little Rock, AR and Jerry Dean Rand of Madison, AL. Four daughters Charlotte Hollingsworth of Grapevine, TX, Charline White of Harrison, AR, Sharon Gray and Terry Jean Taylor both of Little Rock, AR. One step son Leon Rand of Benton, AR. Four brothers Austin Myers of Michigan, Bill Myers of Fresno, CA, Fred Myers of Alexander, AR and Victor Myers of Hermitage, AR. One sister Nina Hargis of Hermitage, AR. Eleven grandchildren, Fifteen great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service was 1:30 p.m. Friday, February 19, at Frazer's Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Myers officiating. Linda Barrett was organist. Burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Jeremy Rand, Christopher Taylor, Michael Taylor, Bruce Brown, Andrew Myers and Drew Hargis. Memorials preferred to Alzheimer's Association; Oklahoma & Arkansas Chapter, Inc.; 2448 E. 81st. Street, Suite 3000; Tulsa, OK 74137.
