NINA MYERS HARGIS AGE 88 OF MAYFLOWER, AR FORMERLY OF BRADLEY COUNTY, AR DIED SATURDAY, DECEMBER 5TH 2020 AT HER DAUGHTERS’ HOME IN MAYFLOWER. SHE WAS BORN APRIL 11TH, 1932 IN PLEASANT VALLEY, A DAUGHTER OF THE LATE HOMER MYERS AND LENA HOWSEN MYERS. SHE WAS A HOUSEWIFE AND HOMEMAKER, MEMBER OF THE FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH IN HERMITAGE, AR AND A GRADUATE OF THE WARREN PUBLIC SCHOOLS. ALSO PRECEDING HER IN DEATH WAS HER HUSBAND, HURLEY GASTON HARGIS, BROTHERS AUSTIN MYERS, REV. CECIL MYERS, DOYLE MYERS, BILL MYERS, VICTOR MYERS, SISTERS CHRISTINE RAND, GRACHELL HARVELL AND MILDRED BROWN.
Survivors include sons, Marl Gaston Hargis, Hurley Wendall Hargis and Drew Stephen Hargis all of Hermitage, AR. Daughters Marcia Karen Henderson, Mayflower, AR and Beverly June Smith, Conway, AR. 13 grandchildren, 31 Great-grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Graveside services were 10:00AM Tuesday, December 8th at Ebenezer Cemetery with Rev. Wayman Mann officiating. Burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
