Wanda Sue Pippin, 74, of Altus, Arkansas died Wednesday, July 12, 2017 in Altus.
She was born May 9, 1943 in Paris, Arkansas to Jacob “Doc” and Lavena Kirkpatrick Holzman.
She was a homemaker, a Christian, and a member of Altus First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Tammy Hilton.
Wanda is survived by her dear friend A.L. Pippin; two sons, Richard Pippin and wife Barbara of Houston, Texas, Todd Pippin and wife Marsha of Fortson, Georgia; a daughter, Shelly Edgmon and husband Mike of Muskogee, Oklahoma; two brothers, Jack Holzman of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Charles Holzman and wife Sherry of Clarksville, Arkansas; a sister, Ruth Tolbert of Ozark, Arkansas; eleven grandchildren, Bradley Hilton of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Cole and Zachary Hilton both of Skiatook, Oklahoma, Ryan Farris of Little Rock, Arkansas, Amy Martin of Van Buren, Arkansas, Tiffany Hilton of Hominy, Oklahoma, Ashley Hilton of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Bailey Eller and Rachel Hannon both of Muskogee, Oklahoma, and Kyle and Eric Pippin both of Greenwood, Arkansas; fifteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral Service will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Bill VanMeter officiating and burial at Cemetery Ridge Cemetery in Ozark under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home in Ozark.
Serving as pallbearers are Jim and Cory Rofkahr, Dalton and Connor Palarino,and Cole, Bradley, and Zachary Hilton. Honorary pallbearers will be Grandchildren.
