Mart Nichols, JR., 79, of Ozark, Arkansas, died, Tuesday, August 13, 2013 in Ozark.
He was born February 13, 1934 in Hartman, Arkansas to Mart and Virginia Pruitt Nichols.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and six sisters.

He was a retired repair man and a member of the American Legion.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, August 16, 2013 at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Fred Nichols officiating with burial at Mt. View Cemetery in Ozark, under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Edna Jean Bowman Nichols of Ozark; one daughter, Teresa Alston of Ozark; two sons, David Nichols of Clarksville, Arkansas and Paul Nichols of Ozark; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Edna Jean Nichols, 80, of Ozark, Arkansas passed away Friday, November 6, 2020 at her home in the presence of loved ones, after an extended illness, while under the loving care of Heart of Hospice. She was born November 18, 1939 in the Mountain Top Community of Franklin County, the daughter of Elvis and Pearlie Martin Bowman. She was a member of Full Gospel Temple. Edna was preceded in death by her father; her husband of fifty-six years, Mart Nichols, Jr.; her son, David Nichols, Sr.; and her sister, Wilene Mason.
She is survived by her precious ninety-nine year old mother, Pearlie Bowman; a daughter, Teresa Alston; a son, Paul Nichols; a sister, Juanita Parrish; a brother, Omer Bowman, all of Ozark; three granddaughters, Laura Simpson of Scranton, Monica Nichols of Clarksville, Casondra Nichols of Russellville; five grandsons, Daniel Hill of Farmington, David Nichols of Ozark, Josh Nichols of Russellville, Matt Nichols of Ozark, Martin Nichols of Russellville; four great grandchildren, Alivia Hill of Fort Smith, Erik Hill of Farmington, Ana Nichols and August Nichols of Ozark; four nieces and three nephews
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Don Simpson, Sr. officiating and burial at Mt. View Cemetery under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Tuesday, November 10th at Shaffer Funeral Home, 2315 West Commercial Street in Ozark.
Pallbearers include her nephew, Joey Mason, her grandsons, Matt, Josh, Martin and David Nichols, and Daniel Hill.
