Marcella Runnells Moody, age 73 of Bearden died Friday, March 27, 2020 at St. Vincent’s in Little Rock, Arkansas. Marcella was born February 6, 1947 in Fordyce, Arkansas. She was retired from Lockheed Martin and a member of Bearden First Assembly of God Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Jackson Runnells and Ora Garner Runnells; husband, Jerry Wayne Moody, Sr.; and one son, Jim Moody. Marcella is survived by one son, Jerry Wayne Moody, Jr. and his wife Katherine of Fordyce; one daughter-in-law, Joy Moody of Thornton; and four grandchildren, Jim Moody of Thornton, Tyler Moody of Fordyce, Krystle Moody of Thornton, and Shelby Moody of Fordyce. Graveside services will be 11:00 am Monday at Moss Cemetery near Bearden with Rev. Matthew Castleberry officiating. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
