OGDEN, Utah — Lovick Roderick "Bill" Brewer, 92, of Ogden died April 18, 2007, at Crestwood Care Center in Ogden. He was born July 24, 1914, in Marshall to James Neal and Dorothy Baker Brewer. He married Nova Garrett, on March 18, 1941. In 1933, he joined the Horse Cavalry and was stationed at Fort Riley, Kan. He transferred from the Army to the Air Force in 1951. He retired as lieutenant colonel, after 27 years of military service. He then worked for the civil service retiring after 10 years. He later worked for Aaron's Jewelry. He and his wife traveled extensively. He was a 32nd-degree Mason, was a member of the Scottish Rites and was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Survivors include his wife, Nova of the home; one son, Lindsey Brewer and wife Ann of Las Vegas; one daughter, Pat Hopkins and husband Bob of Ogden; two grandchildren, Stephanie Arnold and Corey Hopkins and wife Nancy; three great-grandchildren, Matlock Arnold, Piper Arnold and Bailey Arnold.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Farmington Cemetery Pavilion. Burial will be in Farmington Cemetery.

OGDEN, Utah — Nova Garrett Brewer, 91, died Aug. 11, 2011, at Crestwood Care Center in Ogden, Utah. She was born Nov. 22, 1919, in Erbie to Alexander Keen and Cora Hickman Garrett.

She was a member of Eastern Star in Prairie Grove for 51 years.

Survivors include a daughter, Pat Hopkins and husband Bob of Ogden, Utah; and a son, Lindsey Brewer and wife Ann of Las Vegas; a brother, Hank Garrett of Prairie Grove; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Farmington Cemetery Pavilion in Farmington.
