Mrs. Elizabeth Mosley Wilkerson, age 93, of Pine Bluff, died Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Wilkerson was born August 27, 1921, in Bearden, Arkansas, a daughter of the late John G. and Elzie Maude Arnold Mosley. Mrs. Wilkerson was reared and received her education in Bearden, where she attended the Bearden schools. She was a member of Summit Baptist Church and The Order of Eastern Star and was Past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Amaranth. She had worked for Doctor Glasscock and Doctor Nixon as a medical assistant when they were in a partnership together and then for Doctor Nixon. Mrs. Wilkerson also had worked at the Davis Hospital and Jefferson Regional Medical Center when it opened. She was also a volunteer for the American Red Cross and had received many awards for her hard work with the Red Cross.Survivors include a son, Sam Guernsey (Cynthia), of Pine Bluff, a daughter, Peggye Wilkerson of Baltimore, Maryland; granddaughter, Holly Guernsey of Pine Bluff.Funeral services will be Saturday, June 6, 2015, at 10:00 AM in Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors with Reverends Tom Hart and Todd Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Moss Cemetery near Bearden, Arkansas with Reverend Ricky Glover officiating. The family will receive friends at Robinson’s one hour prior to the service.Memorials may take the form of contributions to Summit Baptist Church, 901 Ridgway Road, Pine Bluff, Arkansas 71603.
