George Franklin Reynolds, 92 of Star City died Friday at Gardner Nursing Center in Star City.

He was born March 3, 1922 in Griffith Springs (Lincoln County) to the late Frank and Louisa Bolen Reynolds.

He attended the United Pentecostal Church in Star City and worked in carpentry and construction, drove a log truck and worked in chicken houses.

He also served in the United States Army and was a World War II Veteran.

Also preceding in death were his wife, Emogene McGriff Reynolds, whom he married January 3, 1948; daughter, Shirley Brinsfield; grandson, Jacob Reynolds; 4 brothers, Leroy, Lenford, Nolan and Oscar Reynolds and 5 sisters, Ola Davis, Martha Ingram, Ora Lee Holt, Lanelle Phillips and Clara Mae McGriff.

Survivors include 4 sons, Jerry Wayne Reynolds and wife Kathey, Terry Lynn Reynolds and wife Rhonda, all of Pine Bluff, Lamar Franklin Reynolds and wife Thelma and Bobby Harold Reynolds and wife Regina, all of Star City; 2 daughters, Doris Crawford, and Peggy Densmore and husband Harry, all of Star City; 16 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild.

Funeral Services are 3:00PM Sunday at Griffin Funeral Chapel with Bro. Johnny Wall and Bro. Billy Wright officiating.

Visitation is 2:00-3:00PM Sunday at the funeral home.

Burial at Hickory Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Robert Crawford, Ben Mullikin, Steven Reynolds, Jarrett Reynolds, George Sanders and Tyler Conner.

Emogene McGriff Reynolds, 85, of Star City died Thursday at Gardner Nursing Center.

She was born May 8, 1926 in Lincoln County to the late Robert Manuel "Bob" and Farrie Vermillian McGriff.

She was a homemaker and attended United Pentecostal Church in Star City.

Also preceding her in death were a step-daughter; Shirley Brinsfield, 5 brothers; Hoyt Pierce, Clyde McGriff, Chester McGriff, Monroe McGriff and Author McGriff, 3 sisters; Beatrice McGriff, Ollie McRae and Irene Nowlin and a grandson; Jacob Reynolds.

Survivors include her husband; George Franklin Reynolds, whom she married January 3, 1948, 4 sons; Jerry Wayne Reynolds and wife Kathey, Terry Lynn Reynolds and wife Rhonda, all of Pine Bluff, Lamar Franklin Reynolds and wife Thelma and Bobby Harold Reynolds and wife Regina, all of Star City, 2 daughters; Doris Crawford and Peggy Densmore and husband Harry, all of Star City, 2 brothers; Buddy McGriff and Calvin McGriff, both of Star City, 2 sisters; Eva Cogbill of Pine Bluff and Edna Nutt of Star city, 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be Sunday at 2:00PM at Griffin Funeral Chapel in Star City. Bro. Johnny Wall and Bro. Thomas McGriff will officiate.

Visitation will be Saturday from 6:00-8:00PM at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Hickory Grove Cemetery.
