William Eugene Norton, 86 of Rison died Sunday at his home.
He was born March 3, 1931 in Cleveland County to the late, Gene and Virginia Wilson Norton.
He was the retired fuel manager at Farmer Supply in Pine Bluff and a cattle farmer.
Mr. Norton was a member of New Home Missionary Baptist Church, Pine Bluff and the Norton/Guffy deer camp.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Broome Norton, a grandson, Jason Alan Grant Lawhon and a sister, Evelyn McCoskey.
Survivors include five daughters, Renita (Richard) Graves of Sicily, Italy, Pamela (Scottie) Lawhon of Rison, Susan (Buddy) Oldner, Deborah (Billy) Yarberry and Donna (Paul) Conner all of Star City. Four brothers, John Norton of Rison, Donald Norton of Pine Bluff, Jimmy (Glenda) Norton of Pine Bluff and Jacky (Kathy) Norton of Rison. Four Sisters, Helen Kulbeth of North Little Rock, Doris (John) Vailes of Pine Bluff, Judy (Harold) Gibbs of Tucker and Ruth Ann Norton of Pine Bluff. Other survivors include, Seventeen Grandchildren, Fifteen Great Grandchildren, and Four Great Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday, January 2, at 2:00 P.M. at the Griffin Funeral Chapel in Star City.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 12:00 until funeral time at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Hickory Grove Cemetery near Star City.

Eva Virginia Broome Norton, 79 of the Randall Community (Cleveland County) died Monday at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff.
She was born July 19, 1936 in Clarendon to the late C.A. and Josephine Booker Broome.
She was a member of New Home Missionary Baptist Church, Extension Homemakers Club, Cleveland County Fair Board, she was the Cleveland County Tax Collector in 1987 and she was a bookkeeper.
Also preceding her in death was a brother, Clarence Broome and grandson, Jason Alan Grant Lawhon.
Survivors include her husband, William Norton of the Randall Community; 5 daughters, Renita (Rick) Graves of Colorado Springs, CO, Pamela (Scottie) Lawhon, Susan (Buddy) Oldner, Debbie (Billy) Yarberry and Donna (Paul) Conner, all of Star City; sister, Alba (Roy) Snyder of Kansas City, MO; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandson.
Funeral services are 2:00PM Wednesday at Griffin Funeral Chapel with Bro. Johnny Brewster and Bro. Johnny Pemberton officiating.
Visitation is 6:00-8:00PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial at Hickory Grove Cemetery.
