April 22, 1890 - October 6, 1964
Frank B. Rowland, 74, of Old Union Community, died at a local hospital at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday. He was a retired farmer and a member of Union Baptist Church. Mr. Rowland was born April 22, 1890, in El Dorado, the son of Lester and Harriett Lockamay Rowland. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Dollie Mae Martin and Mrs. Mary DeBord, both of El Dorado, and Clark Rowland of Dubach, La. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Union Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery under the direction of Pratt Funeral Home. The family will be at the home of Mrs. Martin, 605 N. Yocum St. The Rev. Carter Tucker and the Rev. Royal Schultz will officiate at the funeral. Pallbearers will be Olin Ward, Jeanie Jerry, Alonzo Jerry, A. T. Morgan, Early Kinard, Ted Gregory, Guy Graves and Benny Crain. (The El Dorado Times - December 5, 1964)
