Mrs. Lona Ann Kundert, 92, East Main Road, died Wednesday morning in a local hospital following a long illness. Born May 30, 1876, in Wilmington, N.C., she was the daughter of William Ellis and Nancy Jane Haynie Gregory. She had been a resident of El Dorado since 1932. Mrs. Kundert was a member of the Second Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Lloyd Kundert of El Dorado, and William Ellis Kundert of Longview, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. O. M. Kidd and Mrs. Alma Moseley, both of El Dorado; a brother, A. R. Gregory of El Dorado; two sisters, Mrs. Howard Perdue and Mrs. Ed Doss, both of El Dorado; 14 grandchildren; and 32 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Rumph Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Tom Bray and the Rev. Jess L. Kidd officiating. Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery on East Main Road. The family will be at the Lloyd Kundert home, 509 Strong Highway. (El Dorado Times - February 26, 1969)
