Stella Virginia Wood, 91 of Camden, AR passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at Silver Oaks Health and Rehabilitation. She was born October 29, 1928 in Bearden, AR to James Victor Pate and Stella Jones. She was a member of Timothy United Methodist Church and Ouachita County Medical Center Auxillary.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Newman Wood; brother, Buddy Pate; brother, Jeff Pate; brother, Kenneth Pate; sister, Betty Pate and son-in-law, Randy Crain.
She is survived by her daughters, Becky Crain of Benton, AR; Diane Cox and husband, Floyd of Camden, AR; Tereasa Bailey and husband, Ricky of Camden, AR; grandchildren, Andrea Ham and husband, Jason of Bauxite, AR; Jodi Spickard and husband, Garron of Benton, AR; Shane Cox of Albany, NY; Nathan cox and wife, Damaris of Cave Springs, AR; Brian Bailey and fiancee, Danielle of Camden, AR; Amber Potter and husband, Steven of Hampton, AR; great-grandchildren Jaxon Ham, Jase Ham, Kali Spickard, Henry Shane Cox, Ricky Bailey, Reece Bailey, Taylor Bailey, Declan Bailey, Jaylynn Potter, A.J. Potter, Carson Potter, and Addison Potter.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM Friday, December 20, 2019 at Timothy United Methodist Church with visitation beginning at 10:00AM. Internment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Camden, AR. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
