Mrs. Telitha Jane LaShot, 62, wife of B.B. LaShot died at 10:45 o'clock last night at the family home, 223 Dougan street, after an ilness of several years. Her condition became serious Sunday.
Funeral services will be held at the Lake Street Methodist church Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock with the Rev. W.J. LeRoy, former pastor of the church, and the Rev. V.E. Chalfant, present pastor, officiating. Interment will be made at Elmwood cemetery. The Cobb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
John McMurray, Adrian Church, Guy Rogers, O.C. Barnes and Harry Weidman will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. LaShot was born in Illinois and lived in Caruthersville, Mo. before moving here 25 years ago. She had been an active member of the Lake Steet church.
She is survived by her husband, three daughters, Mrs. L.E. Gay and Mrs. Tommie Shelton, of Memphis, two sons, H.E.and William Clay LaShot, of this city, two sisters, Mrs. Ellen Aikson of St.Louis, and Mrs. O.J. Matthews of Caruthersville, and three brothers, John and Sam Edwards of Caruthersville, and W.A. Edwards of Blytheville.

B.B. LaShot, for 29 years a resident of Blytheville, died this morning at 8:15 o'clock at Blytheville Hospital. He was 73. In ill health for several years, he was removed to the hospital several weeks ago when his condition became serious.
Coming to Blytheville in 1913 from West Frankfort, Ill., where he was born, Mr LaShot continuously was employed by Arkansas-Missouri Power Company until his retirement several yeas ago. For many years he delivered ice and "Pap" was a very popular man with the children, who loved the "snow" he would give them. He usually pretended not to notice when they hopped a ride on his ice wagon.
He was equally popular with the housewives who always knew "Pap" would give them good measure.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon, 2:30 o'clock, at Cobb Funeral Home, by Oscar L.Hays, minister of Church of Christ, with burial at Elmwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be George Shanks, J.L. Tyrone, Walter Steele, Tom Boswell, O.A. Roush and N.W. Kyle.
He is survived by two sons, H.E. Lashot of Blytheville,and William Clay LaShot of Eugene, Ore., and three daughters, Mr. W,L, Green, Mrs. L.E.Gay and Mrs. Tom Shelton, all of Blytheville.
