ROGERS — James P. Nisbett, 90, of Rogers died Wednesday, May 21, 2008, in Rogers. He was born April 3, 1918, the son of William W. Nisbett and Della Sharp Nisbett.

James retired from the Army after 30 years of service.

He is survived by his wife, Aileen MacFarland Nisbett of the home, to whom he was married Jan. 1, 1941; his children, James Edward Nisbett and wife Kimberly of Lawton, Okla., Lindel William Nisbett and wife Patricia of Norman, Okla., and Carolyn Arlene Forester and husband Sam of Rogers; his brother, Robert Nisbett and wife Olene of Las Vegas; his grandchildren, Eddie, Sharon, Randy, Michelle, Courtney, Michael, Heather, Gwen, Brian, Alicia, Victoria, Toby, Corey, Sean, Yolunda; his great-grandchildren, Justin, Misty, Jordan, Blake, Delaney, Kelsey, Kinsley and his great-great-grandson, Jake.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, May 23 at Benton County Funeral Home in Rogers, www.bentoncountyfuneralhome.com.

A graveside service with military honors will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Rogers Cemetery in Rogers.

Memorials may be made to Washington Regional Hospice, c/o Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th St., Rogers.

ROGERS — Aileen Nisbett, 94, of Rogers passed away Oct. 26, 2018, in Rogers. She was born Sept. 18, 1924, in Lawton, Okla., the daughter of Edward Banes and Ileta Pearl Gorman McFarland.

Aileen moved to Rogers in 1974 where she taught fifth grade at Southside and Grimes Elementary Schools. She was awarded teacher of the year in 1982.

She was preceded in death by husband Pete Nisbett of 67 years and oldest son Jim. She is survived by her children, Lindel Nisbett, daughter-in-law Patti, daughter Carolyn Forester, son-in-law Sam; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29, 2018, at the Rogers Cemetery in Rogers, Ark. Visitation Service will be 11 a.m.-noon at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th St., Rogers, Ark. (downtown). Online condolences can be made at www.bentoncountyfuneralhome.com.
