Crain Family burials Cemetery
Drew County,

From "Drew County, Arkansas Cemetery Records":
"Crain Family burial: According to Layton Whitaker, son of Charley Whitaker, this small burial spot contains the graves of three people. They are the relatives of Earl Crain. His uncle, Bill Crain, Bill's wife, and buried at their feet, a black slave woman, their family cook. They were buried here sometime after the Civil War. This cemetery is located approximately one and one half miles East of the old Charley Whitaker place, on the East side of the Cut Off Creek, Southeast of the Old Union Community. Mr. Whitaker states that several deep holes have been dug around the grave sites like someone as looking for something. Reference: Layton Whitaker"
