Missionary Marie Blake, 82, of Waldo, AR, passed away April 18th at Magnolia Regional Medical Center in Magnolia, AR.

She was born October 12, 1934 in Waldo, AR. to Augusta Turner and Alice Lambert-Turner.

She was a member of Cotton Belt C.O.G.I.C. in Waldo, AR. and also attended True Worship Church in Waldo, AR.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Cornelious Blake, Jr., and two brothers; Curtis and Aluster Turner.

Survivors include: one son; Alvin Blake & wife Pam of McNeil, AR. Three daughters; Mrs. Diane Willis, Mrs. Rosie Burton, Pastor Joyce Easter & husband Eddie all of Waldo, AR. Two brothers; Minister Marvin Turner & wife Essie of Waldo, AR., Superintendent James Turner & wife Erma of McNeil AR. One sister; Mrs. Alice Mae Mixon of Waldo, AR. Twelve grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, & one great great-grandchild. A goddaughter; Ms. Mary Beal. Special grandchildren raised in her home; Jennifer Jones, Jermaine and Ge’Nyious Burton. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Home going celebration will be held Saturday, April 22nd, at 10:00 a.m. at the Cotton Belt C.O.G.I.C. in Waldo, AR., with burial to follow with in the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Waldo, AR. Under the direction of R.L. Reed Funeral Home, LLC of Magnolia, AR. Officiating will be Bishop Robert Blake and Eulogist; Superintendent James Turner.

Visitation will be Friday from 1- 5: p.m. at the funeral home

Active Pallbearers: Carlos Johnson, Jerry Turner, A’Kari Alexander, Rickieurda Mixon, Ludlow Ashmeade, Cedris Briggs.

Honorary pallbearers: Otis Burton, Jermaine burton, Darius Todd, Alvin Blake, Jr., Justin Burton, Corey Todd.
