Mrs. Arilla Polston, 70 of Hoxie died Friday in Walnut Ridge. Born Mar. 2, 1900 at Blackburn, the daughter of William R. and Docia Davis Taylor, she had lived for the past three years at Hoxie and was a former resident of West Fork.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Polston of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Melvin Lyons of Fayetteville and Mrs. Anna Mae Morecraft of Marshall, Ill. and two nieces.
Funeral service was scheduled at 2 p.m. today at Higginbothan Chapel in Walnut Ridge with burial in Strangers Home Cemetery under direction of Moore's Chapel.
