SUMMERS — Billy Gene Crooks, 67, of Summers died April 20, 2000, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville.

He was born Sept. 20, 1932, in May, Okla., to Oren and Addie Beene Crooks. He attended Summers Missionary Baptist Church and was a member of the Lincoln Riding Club, serving as its president in 1974.

He drove a school bus for the Lincoln school system from 1994 until retiring in 1999.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Ann Crooks of the home; two sons, Jimmy Crooks of Farmington and Billy Crooks of Summers; one daughter, Colleen Woods of Summers; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday at Summers Missionary Baptist Church with Ernest Meadows officiating.

Burial will be in Summers Cemetery under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home of Prairie Grove.

Pallbearers will be Keith Baer, Kent West, Steve Winningham, Cliff Garragus, Bud Estle and Richard Cooper.

Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Washington, John Chambliss, Curtis Bequette, Bobby Carlton, J.C. Albright and Rocky Howe.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be nude to the Kidney Dialysis Center, 400 S. Mount Olive, Siloam Springs.

SILOAM SPRINGS - Patricia Ann Crooks, age 79, a resident of Siloam Springs, passed away Monday, June 12, 2017, at her home. She was born Sept, 10, 1937, in Claremore, Okla., the daughter of B.N. and Maymie Haikey Chase.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Crooks, her parents and one sister, Kate Estle.

Survivors include her daughter, Colleen Crooks of Bentonville; two sons, Jimmy Crooks and Billy Crooks both of Siloam Springs; three sisters, Marion Stout and husband Herb of Woodward, Okla., Joyce Hunter and husband Jim of Yukon, Okla., and Carolyn Chase of Woodward, Okla.; one brother, George Chase and wife Vicki of Carrollton, Texas; six grandchildren Treina Whitcomb and husband Mike, Tracey Renfrow, Logan Crooks and wife Lisa, Laura Crocks, Tyler Crooks and Elizabeth Crooks; nine great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 14, 2017, 6-8 p.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, June 15, 2017, at Summers Baptist Church in Summers. Burial will be in the Summers Cemetery in Summers, Ark.

Pallbearers will be Rocky Howe, Mike Whitcomb, Bill Trentham, Michael Renfrow, Taylor Garrigus and Hunter Garrigus. Online guest book, www.luginbuel.com.
