Marvin D. Gorman, 62, of Hampton, died in an El Dorado Hospital at 2:30 p.m. Thursday. He was a lifelong resident of Hampton and a retired farmer. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Elizabeth Vaughan Gorman; four sons, Marvin Gorman, Jr., of New Orleans; Joe and George Gorman of Crowley, La., and Terry Gorman of Hampton; two daughters, Mrs. Wanda Williams, Camden and Miss Dorothy Louise Gorman of Hampton; three brothers, Joe Willie Gorman of Hampton, Teddy Vinson Gorman, Little Rock, and Jasper Gorman of New Orleans; two sisters, Mrs. Nora Wilson, Hampton, and Mrs. Cora Coleman, Hampton; and 12 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the First Assembly of God Church, Hampton, with burial in Mose Chapel Cemetery near Hampton. The body will be taken to the home in Hampton at 4:30 p.m. Friday. (Camden News - January 2, 1970)
