FAYETTEVILLE - Jackson Cox Lane, 24, died on Monday, Feb. 8, 2016, in his home. He was born Sept. 11, 1991, in Fayetteville, Ark., to Debra Bass and Jim Lane.

Jackson was a small business owner and a person who knew the true meaning of what it meant to be a hard worker. This young man was loved by all he came into contact with and was beyond kind-hearted to all those he encountered. Jackson was a major fitness enthusiast who was entirely family oriented; he was the kind of man who would give you the last cent in his wallet.

He is survived by his mother, Debbie Bass of Fayetteville; three siblings, Jim Lane of Lincoln, Dustin Williams of Bentonville, and Annie Lane of Fayetteville; along with two sets of grandparents, Margaret and Jim Mayhue of Lincoln and Preston and Charlene Cox of Rogers, and one grandmother, Dorothy Higgins of Prairie Grove.

Jackson was preceded in death by his father, Jim Lane of Fayetteville.

There will be an open funeral service held on Monday, Feb. 15, 2016, at 10 a.m. at Luginbuel's Funeral Home in Prairie Grove, Ark. However, there will also be an open door viewing at Luginbuel's on Sunday, Feb. 14, 2016, from 1-5 p.m. for those who are unable to attend the funeral or choose to attend both.
